Things are starting to move fast. Faster than a speeding bullet? Not quite but we do already have our second cast member, male lead, James Olsen is going to be played by Mehcad Brooks! Mehcad is no stranger to tv. Entertainment Weekly is reporting:
True Blood‘s Brooks, whose credits also include Desperate Housewives and Necessary Roughness, follows in the footsteps of the other actors who have portrayed Jimmy Olsen, including Marc McClure (Superman: The Movie, Supergirl), Sam Huntington (Superman Returns), Justin Whalin (Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman) and Aaron Ashmore (Smallville).
Entertainment Weekly also went on to report:
James Olsen—not Jimmy, like in the comics—is a photographer at CatCo, the media company where Kara works. He has recently been living and working in National City, through the reason is still a secret. James is also rumored to be a love interest for Kara.
