It's A Super Life 100th Episode Trailer

Thomas Lennon is making his debut as Mxyzptlk! It looks like it's going to be a trip down memory lane but the memories might not all be what we've seen. Kara is given the opportunity to change the past. She'll get the opportunity to tell Lena her secret before Lex does and the outcome could change everything. Will the changes be for the better? We're not sure, there does look like there is an outcome where Kara dies in 2018! Check out the trailer for next week's 100th episode of Supergirl below:

+2 #35 I just found this little gemKaraD 2020-02-22 15:57
The actors that were on season 3 of Supergirl decided to make a special video in the "Reign forest" on Sweet Dreams by Eurythmics. It's even funnier than the annual bloopers. Katie and Melissa dancing! :D This video captures perfectly the friendship between the actors and the fun they are having even though they work so hard. The timing is so perfect. Just in time for the 100th!

"From shooting the @supergirlcw pilot 5 YEARS AGO. That is the face of a baby who had no idea the crazy ride she was about to take. Our 100th episode airs this Sunday #supergirl100"

Thank you Melissa for the 100th! I cannot stop thinking how blessed we are. Melissa is a true Supergirl.

Here is the link from her Instagram, there's a cool picture that brings us back to the very beginning. It says it all...

Thanks for the picture Kara D - it does remind us of how far this show has gone and how much it is loved to stay on for so long and hopefully many more seasons to go.

Please, let's put the suit/skirt issue to rest. The show will do whatever they think is best. If they do modifications/alterations in the future to incorporate different and more aesthetically pleasing elements, they either will or they won't.

I think as long as they keep going back to the past and showing Melissa in the old suit, you will always have it come up in conversational comments. The show needs to stay in the present where the suit is concerned - that way the comments of the old suit will not come up as much.

Well,I think something like the 100th episode which is going to involve going back to previous seasons, having the old suit back if only briefly, is appropriate. The 100th is celebrating with a look back, where having the old suit make an appearance makes sense. At the same time,I would expect another element of the episode is to use the look back at the past to move forward. So I think the old suit's return is going to be brief.

The old suit appearing in Crisis also made sense IMO since the sequence was set during the Invasion crossover. It would of felt weird to me if they used the new suit in that moment.Kara with the bangs actually felt off to me in that scene. The new suit would of made it even more so I think.I was surprised they didn't use a wig for that moment since they've used a wig already in flashbacks and it seems they will so again in the 100th.

I am fine with the new suit. I am curious what happened to the bio filter enhancement of the old one that Lena created. Does it not exist in the Earth Prime time line? Lex indicated that the filters to protect Supergirl from kryptonite at the DEO do not exist now... was he referring to her biosuit? The biosuit really seemed to give the best of both.

The argument is somewhat standard for super hero fans. The Flash chin strap vs no chin strap went on for some time.

I agree. However, not to stir the pot, there are many ways around the suit/skirt issue.

As everyone knows, I had my classic little meltdown in the Forum this past summer about it. Plenty of options and plenty of solutions abound. It's simply wardrobe/costume design, Melissa and Co. and the PTB having the knowledge, foresight and wherewithal to do it. As it stands, they've chosen to go the suit route for the time being. Whether it will remain a permanent forevermore thing is to be seen.

As for Vancouver's weather - damp and cold is par for the course at this time of the year. Try Edmonton, Calgary, Toronto or Montreal in mid-February. Like you, I live here and it's a very, very different story. Simply put, we adapt.

I live in Vancouver, and I can say the reasons are not poor. First off, this has been one of the coldest and snowiest winter's on record. Secondly, even if it's not snowing, it's raining all the time. The risk of illness is very high. The women who are out and about in the winter months are NOT wearing skirts. And it's not always possible to slip pants on in between takes. There are scenes where Melissa must be on wires for long periods of time, including in between takes. You can't put pants on in those situations. And if you're lead gets sick, it slows the whole production and impacts EVERYONE's job. And any slowdown in production means you are hemorrhaging money.

The new suit also means they don't need to strategically frame stunts to avoid upskirt shots. Furthermore, the new suit doesn't require a corset to support a heavy cape. So yes, it is much easier on both Melissa and her stunt people. And cheerleaders do short dance numbers, periodically, for games that are maybe 3 hours. Lead actors typically works a 15 hour day, minimum, 5-6 days per week.

And for the record, yes, I like the old suit better. And I think a suit with pants could be better. I agree that the symbol placement is weird and the overall design could be better. But the reasons for switching to pants are valid.

Kdogg87 , except for the fact that I think the new suit is cool, you have summarized this the best - I am so in agreement with you regarding the need for the new super suit .

I so agree. Berlantiverse uses the worst wigs ever... like Party City cheap bad.

They are all awful, but nothing will top the hiddeousness of Arrow's Future Rene Remierez.
