Mxy in the Middle Gallery & Blind Spots Synopsis

Two big Supergirl stories to unpack today! The first is that we have new images from Mxy in the Middle which welcomes back our favorite 5th dimensional imp played by the wonderful Thomas Lennon! His hair looks like its grown out a bit which is giving his side curls some extra pointiness! Lena also looks to be out of National City still and while we understand most of the images, why Lena is having a meal in a cave is gonna need some explaining! Looking ahead to September 21, we are getting David Ramsey returning to the director's chair and on an episode written by Azie Tesfai! Double dose of the cast taking crew spots on this one which is very exciting! Check out the gallery and synopsis below:

“SUPERGIRL” STAR AZIE TESFAI CO-WROTE THE EPISODE DIRECTED BY DAVID RAMSEY – Kelly (Azie Tesfai) is horrified when the Ormfell building implodes, injuring many in the community, including Joey (guest star Aiden Stoxx). However, her horror quickly turns to frustration when she realizes that the hospital is overwhelmed, people are getting sicker, and no one is coming to help – including Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) who is busy fighting Nyxly (Peta Sergeant). Knowing that she can make a difference, Kelly embraces her power and fully steps into her role as Guardian. Joined by Supergirl, Alex (Chyler Leigh), Diggle (guest star David Ramsey) and team, Guardian leads the way to restoring justice to the fallen community. The episode was directed by David Ramsey and written by J. Holtham & Azie Tesfai (#612). Original airdate 9/21/2021.

Yes, it is good to see Mxy again. I've been thinking about Nyxly's changing story about her family and her circumstances. She told Kara one version and Nia a greatly different version. She is hard to read, but I find myself thinking she may be more malevolent than I first thought. She told Nia she can't wait to see her father and brother, but to embrace them or to punish them? Could Mxy in fact be her brother? It should be very interesting to watch this dynamic play out.


Wow Superbill - that would be something if they were brother and sister - I never even thought of that scenario.


Hmmm... I was thinking spurned ex. Didn't they date or have history in the comics?

Also, Fun Fact - This is the episode that I was on set taking pictures and video for, when I was up in Vancouver for film school. I was at the park while they were filming. I literally almost walked into Thomas Lennon on his way back from lunch. I didn't even say anything...bit starstruck, as he's such a legend, in my eyes.

Awesome... to be on set before the show wraps... I'd totally geek out.

I wonder whether we will get a scene between Brainy and Nia where he is all "I'm gone for two weeks and you release a big bad from the Phantom Zone". :lol: (at least I'm kind of assuming that that will happen, that Nia brings Nyxly back in exchange for getting to see her mom again? I would be surprised if she talks that over with the rest of the heroes)

Anybody else worried that Myxy could die? Or how else are they going to explain why he can't or won't help with Nyxly? I think at the very least Nyxly will lock him up in some way by the end of the episode.

I'm no Sherlock Holmes but I would lay 10 to 1 that they are indeed Brother and Sister. Mxy and Nxyly...........yeah they're family.

I'm thinking the woman is a medium Lena is meeting with in an effort to contact her mother's spirit.

All interesting pictures, so it should be a good episode.



That what I am thinking. Also, could there be an Acrata connection? In previous episodes, we know Lena learned of the Acrata necklace that Andrea now possesses through her mother... if I recall correctly.
