Prom Night Trailer

While it is bitter sweet that our favorite show is coming to an end, we are simply elated that the powers that be have opted to give us a double dose of our alternate favorites young Kara and young Alex. Don't get us wrong, no one could replace Melissa Benoist, Chyler Leigh and their bond on screen, but Izabela Vidovic and Olivia Nikannen embody Kara and Alex's early developing relationship perfectly! Get ready for a two episode ride that ends with Chyler Leigh's directorial debut! Check out the trailer for "Prom Night!" below:

You may be correct, as expectations are running high. But I am hopeful they will not disappoint. Its quite evident that many fans really enjoyed the original Midvale episode and are looking forward to seeing the younger versions again before the show ends. I think most realize that Melissa will be regulated to the PZ until episode 8. I have to say, at least from my point of view, the PZ inserts filmed after-the-fact have been very good and are an ingenious way to work Melissa into the early episodes this season. The first 4 episodes of this season have been quite consistent and satisfying... I can't wait to return to Midvale and see younger Kara, Alex & Cat!

Completely agree that the PZ solution has worked well in keeping Kara connected with the show while accommodating Melissa's absence.

I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a little nervous about the writers, but so far they seem to be doing ok under challenging circumstances.

I'm expecting a fun trip to Midvale. :-)

Ya know, everyone's expectations are very high for these next two episodes so I expect it's not going to cut the mustard. When you have your Mickey Mantle out of the line up expect a noticeable void in the show. I expect Supergirl to be delegated to pinch hitting duties in the Phantom Zone which will limit her air time. Of course I may be wrong as usual but I thought I would point that out. :-|

Season 6 has not disappointed. I think episode 2 of the 4 that aired so far was perhaps the weakest and it had its moments. These next two in Midvale with young Kara, Alex and Cat should be fun. The 90s episode of the Flash would have been a fun companion episode.

I really am looking forward to these next two episodes.Tonight's episode gave us the setup for it so now we know why Brainy & Nia are going back to Midvale. The promo reminded me oi the vibe from The Flash episode a few weeks ago with Cisco & Chester(in this case Nia & Brainy). That episode also reminded me of Legends.Since I watch all the Arrowverse shows,I have no problem with Supergirl and The Flash channeling a little bit of Legends for their time travel episodes.
